One Axis This poem was writtenOne Axis by ~goosahopgoodshophoof
With dying sunbeams in the bark of an ash.
A memory.
A memory of dancing with the starlight
Amid the fireflies and trees
In the thick summer night
With a smile on your face.
And singing with the birds
Like nobody can learn,
But all know.
And reveling in the August rays of sun
Moving our souls in time
To the turning of the earth
Or the whispered words of the sea.
And our lives passing with the moons
Until the sun drew back behind swirling winds
And tossed a white blanket over the firmament.
And tracks in the snow,
Your hand in mine,
The heat of our bodies mingling,
The only warmth in winter's heart.

The Gloaming Bridge I am a bridge,The Gloaming Bridge by ~goosahopgoodshophoof
A grand, old bridge,
Built of alabaster white
And ebony night,
Veins thick with dull gray mortar,
Spanning a fissure of ever-changing width.
One end in the deepest darkness,
One end beyond the pale,
I have set a foot in each firmament,
My heart blazing fierce in the fires of twilight.
And upon my walkways ancient and fair,
A battle has forever raged.
Soldiers swinging silver swords and stabbing savage spears
Over some long-forgotten, unknown grievance,
While black-clad killers and white-robed wizards
Hurl their hatred eternal,
Infernal,
Back and forth
With bullets and burning crosses.
And the rivulets of life

My Inferno I went to heaven once.My Inferno by ~goosahopgoodshophoof
And let me tell you, it was great.
But then, most things are next to twelve years in hell.
Every day I lived in, it seemed, a bubble of glass.
A clear globe that cut me off from the outside world,
Whose origins I did not understand.
So I went to see how glass is formed.
Sand and fire, eh?
Now it all makes sense.
Each and every grain of sand
Stabs into my memory like the barbed blade of a sword.
And I can remember the very first time I was run through.
First grade. I couldn't play with the class Magnetiles, my favorite toy, because I was girly and weird.
Second grade. If I came too clos
